Personal Speech on the Romanian Parliamentarian Conference on Combating Human Trafficking

On the 22nd of April, more than 200 representatives of international and national NGOs, key Romanian politicians came together to discuss about how politicians and civil society could work better together to combat Human Trafficking. This meeting was organized by the European Christian Political Movement, the Romanian Parliamentary Working Group on combating the trafficking of persons, and the European Freedom Network. H.E. Angel Tîlvăr, Romanian Government Minister for Romanians abroad and coordinator of the Romanian Parliamentary Group on combating trafficking of human beings chaired the morning session and was a keynote speaker. The European Christian Political Movement (ECPM) together with the Group for Combating Trafficking in Persons of the Parliament of Romania, the Ecumenical Prayer Group of the Romanian Parliament is pleased to invite you to our conference on Family Values and Human Trafficking in the Romanian Parliament in Bucharest, Romania, on April 2nd, 2014. This conference will be organized in collaboration with and the   Federation of Catholic Family Organizations in Europe (FAFCE).   On this day we wish to formulate and discuss a balanced view on marriage inspired by Christian values and relevant for the postmodern society. Therefore experts from Croatia, Slovenia, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom will come to give their views on how and why the family should be supported in the 21st century. Register now for the Romanian Prayer Breakfast and the international conference on Human Dignity

On 25 – 27 September, the Ecumenical Romanian Parliamentary Prayer Group organized in collaboration with the European Christian Political Foundation the 8th Romanian Prayer Breakfast followed by an international conference on Human Dignity. The Romanian Prayer Breakfast will be hosted by the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament, Mr. Valeriu Ştefan Zgonea.  After the international conference, also parallel sessions will be organized focused on pro-life and the integration of people with disabilities in Romania and to mark the launch of the Romanian Chapter of the World Youth Alliance. Romanian Parliamentary Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast this year on the 4th of October

From the 3rd of October in the evening, until the 6th of October, the ECPM (European Christian Political Movement) in collaboration with the Ecumenical Prayer Group from the Romanian Parliament will organize the Romanian Prayer Breakfast with as theme: "Common mission for combating poverty" hosted by the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament, Mr. Valeriu Ştefan Zgonea. The event will start with a cocktail on the 3rd in the evening, followed by the Romanian Prayer Breakfast in the morning and by a debate on the 4th. On the 5th and 6th of October (optional) a special excursion to the Danube Delta will be organized. The Prayerbreakfast will take place in the Romanian Parliament (the Parliamental Palace). My Christmas message during the Romanian Prayer Breakfast, in the Palace of Parliament 8 December 2011

On 8 December, the national Romanian Prayer Breakfast took place in the Palace of Parliament in Romania. This event was organized by the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies and the Ecumenical Prayer Group of the Romanian Parliament in collaboration with the ECPM. I was invited to share a Biblical message.
